A bride who looks exquisite on the outside is essential, a bride who feels beautiful on the inside is paramount. That is the philosophy most near and dear to my heart, and my goal going into each and every wedding or special event that I have been privileged to be a part of. Getting to know my client’s dreams and wishes, listening to their vision of the special event. Who is important to them? What do they value? What are they hoping to take away and cherish from this day? These are the questions I am interested in because really knowing my client leads to hair and makeup that speaks to the importance of the special day, secures lasting impressions, and enhances enduring memories for them.

Choosing the career path of ‘special occasion’ hair and makeup was a natural fit for me. After beauty school and working in a premier salon for 5 years in Seattle, I realized I am happiest helping clients look and feel stunning on their special moments in life…just being a part of their unique journey, their timeline markers in life is first and foremost a profound experience and I am grateful for each unique event I have been a part of.

I was born and raised in Bend, Oregon, so when my husband Colton Jacobs was offered a dream career opportunity as a wilderness and sports photographer for a major snowboard company, we both agreed Central Oregon was the place to set up our base camp, and for me it was simply coming home.

I have had the privilege of being involved in many wedding celebrations throughout my career. One of my favorite memories is when I was asked to do hair and makeup and my husband was involved on the photography end at a very private elopement ceremony in the middle of the woods. I got to do the bridal styling and then had the honor of helping the bride into her gown, a privilege usually withheld for the mother of the bride. It just doesn’t get any better than that… until I am asked to help with the next unique wedding, then my love affair with all things beautiful and bride-ly starts all over again.
