Hi, I’m Katy! I’ve been a photographer and videographer for over 17 years and I love working with couples to create beautiful, artistic photos and films. My visual style tends to be soft with bright lighting, earthy/vibrant tones, and a mix of prompted and candid poses. My energy tends to be pretty calming, which can help people look and feel more natural in their photos and on video. In 2011, I earned my bachelor’s degree in applied media arts (photo/video), and learned the ins and outs of how digital and film cameras work, and even how to build a camera. It has been my passion for quite some time now, and I can’t wait to share it with you!

Katy is such a natural photographer. Having a shoot with her feels as easy and comfortable as hanging out and having a conversation. Absolutely BEYOND. The pictures of course, but the experience as well.. Katy made us all immediately comfortable and made our three year old feel so special and turned it into a FUN experience for her, rather than just trying to bribe her and trying to snap a couple shots in between meltdowns!
